—Books & Lessons
Over the years, I have read many books, but a few have stayed with me. They have made me think differently about wealth, choices, purpose and time. These are a few lessons from them that continue to shape my thinking.
01.
The Richest Man in Babylon
George S. Clason
The most important financial lessons are often the simplest ones — pay yourself first, live within your means, make your money work for you, and protect what you build.
02.
The Psychology of Money
Morgan Housel
Wealth is built through behaviour more than brilliance — by saving consistently, thinking long term, allowing for uncertainty, avoiding comparison, respecting the role of luck and risk, and knowing what is enough.
03.
Ikigai
Héctor García & Francesc Miralles
A meaningful and fulfilling life comes from finding purpose in what you do, staying active and curious, nurturing relationships, embracing simplicity, and finding joy in the everyday.
04.
Die With Zero
Bill Perkins
The goal is not to maximise wealth, but to maximise life — using your money and time thoughtfully to create meaningful experiences, while you have the health, energy and people to enjoy them.
—Lessons That Stay
For me, the thread connecting these books is beyond wealth. It is about how we choose to live.
Over time, I have come to believe that a fulfilling life is shaped by the choices we make every day — what we prioritise, what we let go of, who we spend time with and whether we make space for the things that bring us joy.
Perhaps, in the end, a well-lived life is not measured by how much we accumulate, but by the richness of the experiences, relationships and moments we create along the way.
